Spanish 2 for beginners

Goal
At the end of Module 4, students will learn how to book and talk about their holidays and basic writing skills. They will learn how to describe things, talk about location, tell the time, describe a person’s character - and more.

At the end of Module 4, students will learn how to talk about their likes and dislikes, give opinions and describe how they spend their free time. They will learn how to accept and refuse invitations, discuss how they feel, make future plans and arrangements, arrange travel bookings – and more.

The end level will be on your way to CEFR level A2.

For whom
For students who can speak a little Spanish at Beginner level. They can give their names, talk about their family and say where they are from, They can spell out words, order food in a restaurant, ask for directions, say where places are and know the numbers 1-100 in Spanish. They have a basic knowledge of the difference between SER and ESTAR. These topics are covered in the Beginner’s course.

Study load
9 weeks, 1,5 hours per week. Your homework will be about 3 hours per week.
 
Classes
Classes will start on Thursday 20th of April and will take place weekly from 16.00 till 17.30
 
Start of the course
The course starts if there are enough participants. At the end of the course the student will be able to understand simple daily conversation in Spanish. The student will get a good passive understanding of the Spanish language.

ECS
If your institute gives permission to this course (please have yourself well informed before you start your course), it can be validated with 1 EC. You need to be present for at least 80% of the classes (and show active participation) and pass the final test.

Certificate
This course ends with a written and oral test. If you pass these tests you will receive a Proof of Participation.

Course € 205,- and +/- € 16,- course material (same book as Spanish for Beginners)

No refunds are given in cases where participation is cancelled on, or after the date on which the course starts. Attending the course means you commit yourself to paying the full cost for the course.
