Saskia Goddijn received an MA in Art History from the University of Groningen, specializing in baroque art and the circumstances in which it was made and the social factors that shaped it. Feeling the need to put theory into practice, she worked as a tour leader and guide. Still passionate about art and eager to share that passion, she now owns her own company and teaches a broad range of art historical subjects. Her motto is to be “art historical, not art hysterical”, rather than trying to impress and overwhelm students with information clotted with jargon and clichés, her aim is not only to tell a good story, but to interact with and engage her students.
